In this project my theme was a bald eagle. I chose the bald eagle because I thought it would be a fun thing to create. First, I created a rough draft of the bald eagle. Second, I cut out the eagle into the yellow/stick paper. Then, I put the silkscreen onto the wooden frame. Finally, I inked a piece of paper through the silkscreen and created my final project. If I could have any type of emotions that the eagle symbolizes it would be peace, freedom, and liberty. In this project I feel I achieved my artist goals. Although, I could've had more steady hands cutting out the eagle because the feathers were harder to cut out then I thought it would be. After completing this project I learned how to cut out and ink objects onto paper using silk the sticky paper that was given to us. In conclusion , this was one of the most enjoyable projects yet.
